May 22 2008 08:36 AM I found it decent enough to see it through to the finish, yes it's simple and cliche, but the action was somewhat enjoyable. Off topic I've never finished a .hack series because I find them boring to the extreme, it's not that I don't like to think it's just their conversations are uninteresting (to me at least). People going into coma's from playing a game? Sooo why doesn't it get shut down? |

May 22 2008 04:58 AM Eek, that could've been much better. IMO that movie was even worse than the original series I saw. The plot was cliche and unoriginal all the way through, I got tired of Haseo screaming at the top of his lungs by the 30 min mark; voice acting was below average, especially bad in the fight scenes; finally, the animation quality was plain bad, it's like the people who made the thing never cared to render it properly, and the lighting is just screwed up and wrong. I wish I could say I was able to finish the movie, but that's not the case. Goes straight to the dumpster =(( I guess this movie does not work out for anyone who's not a .hack slave >___< |

| QUOTE (Vampe @ Apr 20 2008, 01:01 PM) | I have youst finished watching both .Hack//Roots and the trailers for G.U for the secound time and was youst wondering does the G.U. movie diferers mush from the Roots anime?
looking forward to seing the movie. |
the process is like this .Hack//Roots, the three games then the movie. The movie is a continuation from the story of Roots and the game. After seeing the movie i reckon you can get away with watching roots and then the movie. The movie is basically a summary of the three games and it was pretty awesome . |

| QUOTE (ChronoLegend @ Mar 28 2008, 12:05 AM) | Err... Read the rules. You shoudn't be asking us when it is going to be subbed. Though as of now, if you're dying to know, AQS has been working on .hack//GU Trilogy. But they aren't the fastest subbers, in fact, they're quite slow, but they are a good group. You're just gonna have to wait, for all we know, it could take up to another month.
Some people recommended to me that I should finish the games first before watching the movie, but I have no idea when I'm gonna be able to get volumes 2 and 3 of .hack//GU since I recently got Brawl. I might just watch the movie without finishing the games. Anyone still think I should finish the games first? I can't hold the temptation to watch this movie forever. |
ChronoLegend I would try to finash .hack//gu first cuz in my opinion the games are much better then the movie and I'm not saying the movie stinks cuz it doesn't it is actully really good. It's just that the movie differs too much from the game. BTW if U would not mine me asking ChronoLegend whats your friend code for brawl. Sorry too get off subject. PM me with your Friend Code for brawl and I PM U and give U my friend code. |

You can go either way. I would finish the game to kill time waiting only. |

Mar 28 2008 07:22 AM I suggest you play the 3 GU game to fully enjoy the Trilogy movie...don't worry the movie won't have all similar events as the same 3 games as there would be new things that you won't see in the games...Well it has been some time now that I've finished the GU games and when I watched the trailers about the movie I was quite surprised.... |
