After failing his high school entrance examinations, normal schoolboy Aono Tsukune happens to be accepted into Yokai Gakuen. It is a school to which monsters go, and it has this rule: if a human being should find out about the school, he must be killed. The situation frightens Tsukune, but he is encouraged by Akashiya Moka, a vampire of great beauty who takes a liking to him, and he resolves to stay at the school. Other beautiful and unique girls then appear one after another, causing no end of trouble for Tsukune. How will his school life turn out?
Oct 26 2009 10:32 AM I have to agree, if they do a 3rd series it's about time for character developement to continue. We all love Moka-san and Kurumu's chest but there's only so much harem a person can stand without storyline developement. I'd also really like to see inner=moka when she's not fighting too
Oct 25 2009 08:24 PM Well I only want a 3rd season once they actually make Tsukune into a Goul and starts to act like a badass than being the indecisive boy in a monster girl harem.
If they do that and not do another season of fanservice that can't be showin on broadcast TV than I'm giving up on wanting to see how it plays out and abandon the series all together.

Opening Theme: "DISCOTHEQUE" by Nana Mizuki Ending Theme: "Trickster" by Nana Mizuki AND "Trinity Cross" by Nana Mizuki
Plot: -
Continues from where the first season left us off and promises to introduce more of the characters from the manga ( such as Moka's younger half-sister, Kokoa ) and new anime-only characters.
My Thoughts:
I wanna see the GHOUL form of Tsukune and of course see more of Moka-chan's "true" vampric form (FAVOURITE character), Kurumu-chan (one of my favourite character from this series), normal Moka-chan, Mizore-chan and Ruby-chan....(forget Yukari-tan ).
Mar 21 2009 02:22 AM Although the manga was good the anime doesn't comapire to it. I mean it's like comparing apples to oranges, and you're taste is kind of biased with the compairison here.
Meaning they do a better job with the manga since they dumbed down the anime. I mean the anime was more fanservice and songs. While the manga was more along the line of having something called a storyline with some fanservice moments though.
probally. but its to early to tell. might get sum news on a 3rd season in 3-6months
I agree. It took awhile to get season 2 started. But it won't be a problem because the manga sells very well, as someone who lives there has told me recently.
I was going through that article earlier on today and I'm pretty shocked at how they're going about the censoring on DVD.....which is supposed to be **UNCENSORED**......I'm really confused......is GONZO managed by a bunch of drugged-up gorillas and pandas !?! Their logic is just simply messed-up at times.
For me....GONZO is the most disappointing studio who really do have a lot of potential, they just have to many up and downs.
Na, Gonzo is a...well, was a very good company. They had shows like Full Metal Panic Series 1 and Chrno Crusade back then were very good, and the animation quality are was top notch (especially for the CG). Not only that, they made many anime of original stories, which were also very good story-wise. But may be it's because they too focused on the quality and end up over spending (or poor budget management), now they find themselves in the red so they are getting desperate, so they choose the easiest way (they think) of making money possible- throw out echii titles after titles, as we all know otaku are gold mines.
In case you do not know, TV anime itself barely make studios any money, it's the CD/DVDs sales and the related products (like character figures etc) that's making them money.
But yea...if Gonzo decide to make another echii show, as least pick an echii manga title, instead of one that's actually story-focused = =
