True ... true .. the last scene was very funny and i too loved the character feeli very much ......... but i agree that the last episode somehow was rushed and kept lots of things unexplained and kinda destroyed the plot just to give an ending to it and gives a "no" more second season feeling as well.

I disagree with what you've said about the Heaven's Blade Wolfie. The impression i got from that scene was that the Heaven's Blade was in competition with the Psyharden katana so Leyfon had to almost force the 2 to combine.
I feel like the whole series was sorta like a prequel to a proper series with the way it ended. The ending also did raise quite a few more questions and the question of who or what Ignis is/was wasn't really answered for me.
Felli was always the star for me and I loved the way the show ended with Felli kicking Leyfon so hard he screamed

I doubt they would go with a second season since it seemed the last episode kind of killed the entire series. I mean it felt like a huge plot-hole outdid what the whole set-up for this series was trying to do.

The only way they can do it is probably redo the ending with an OVA, at least they owe us that much of a repair of the storyline.

Well here's hoping it doesn't get moved t a different timeslot if it tends to obtain a second season. Although they did do a rather good job on how much Felli was a tsundere and how much she kind of liked Leyfon.

Although you're right about the Psyharden blade it's was like he was about to use it and then the Heaven's Blade came in and wanted to fuse with his weapon which kind of made him uber broken if you ask me.

I mean all he did was just one shot Sevaris knocking him into next week so to speak, and then uses it to litterally fly back to Zulleni and takes down te filth monster attacking the city. Although Felli did help on pointing out it's week point but that was about it.

The only redeeming feature the final episode had was Felli kicking Leyfon once again becuase he wasn't paying much attention to what Felli was saying.

I think the ending is beyond a plothole... Its more like plot destruction. All the momentum they've built up was completely vaporized.

• 1) The Psyharden dite was completely overshadow by the sudden appearance of the heaven's blade. To add insult to injury, Layfon doesn't even get to show it off, but just merges the two.
• 2) The long awaited Sevaris vs Layfon fight turn into an utter farce. It would be much more believeable if they have Layfon fight on equal grounds against Sevaris' Heavens Blade by using the Psyharden dite (with something that surpasses fonfon's recent fight in the mercenary arc), then his Heavens Blade come as a tie breaker...
• 3) The other heaven's blade is tagged on. If they are so powerful, why would they have so much trouble with a filth monster when Layfon solo his with ease? They balance of power is completely twisted for the sake of a "S1 Ending". Maybe we should start call this the "Broken ending"
• 4) The whole purpose of making Nina into Ram-girl was to force the meeting of Zulleni and Grendan, then what's the point of her meeting dix and being shown the legends of regios?
• 5) The whole joke of a harem isn't going to work when you show us that Leerin and Layfon are the destined pair to protect Regios, and Layfon only ever kissed Leerin directly.

In other words poor explaination and a possilbe plothole. In any case was there any reason why he was abile to ride the fused blade in the air like that. I feel like they just make the thing rather broken since it was the last episode.

Although I still say having it end on a very open note like that makes me hope there is a second season to better explain this, and since all of the Heaven Blade Receivers were presient not only in the last two to three episodes, but they were in the OP as well. I mean I still feel a bit let down that the gun wielding chick with the witch hat didn't show up until the end of it all.

the heaven blade got return to grendan. pretty sure he can get back his psyharden katana though.


btw here my thought on why he need to fuse both the heaven blade and psyharden katana.

The heaven blade from what we are shown can withstand a vast amount of kei (since heaven blade receiver all got monsterous amount of kei) unlike any normal dite (layfon normal weapon got burnt out too many times in this series already). So the heaven blade will allow Layfon to use all his kei without the weapon getting busted up.

Also might explain why the heaven blade can block and reflect savaris attack?

And the psyharden katana, well not sure if it got special ability but it is a katana and not a sword (like layfon normal dite and the heaven blade). Layfon is train in the psyharden skill which uses katana, so using a katana will allow Layfon to use his skills fully.

Now fusing both heaven blade and psyharden katana, create a heaven blade katana form. Which both allow Layfon to use all his kei and psyharden skill to its fullest.

Well that what i think happened anyway

Finally..i have a chance to watch the last episode...agreed with kid wolf..the heavens blader didn't get much screen time...i would like to add some thoughts of the other heavens blader like..(woah..is that layfons true power???) just like as dick say it just the beginning...anyway..hoping for the next season..if theres one..


btw..where the heavens blade dite of layfon now??is it with him?or been returned to grendan?

Actually it felt more like that this turned out to be more along the line of being a first season for this series. From what I can tell some of the Heavens Blade Receivers didn't get much screen time until the final two to three episodes. In any case I think they might pull off a second season to go even further into this series.

On the up side of things at least it didn't turn out to be a 12 episode open ended series like they originally planned for.
