The seinen moe 4-panel (4-koma) manga, K-On! by Kakifly will be getting animated for a Spring 2009 premier. The manga was serialized in the seinen moe 4-panel manga magazine Manga Time Kirara, and is also serialized in the seinen moe 4-panel manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat.

The story follows four girls who try to rescue their high school's light music club, even though they are all novices who cannot play instruments or read music.

Well I don't think this series was hyped ... well i am not following animes very closely but this series is just great. I like the pace and how they give importance to enjoying life and music rather than going deep into music stuffs. One thing good about this anime is that it is clean ...... lately amount of ecchiness has grown so much and nudity is not even getting censored anymore making it more difficult to watch anime with people around you wink.gif. Well i am enjoying the anime a lot and find it difficult to stop after watching 2 3 episode(currently at episode 9 ...... few more to go ) .... still i do it so that i can enjoy it for few days smile.gif I hope second season is also as good as first.

Hi ..... well just a bit late i think but i just started watching Kon. Its awesome and full of comedy .... somehow the poster gave a feeling that its oriented towards girls so didnt start it earlier but i fount it quiet amusing now. Watched four episode in a row,all i had till now, others in queue as i wasnt able to stop after watching first episode ... looking forward to other episode and new season as well. Great anime for all moe fans smile.gif. Very cute character and mio is the best.

I was thinking just that

I feel giving the mic to azusa and playing her version of "let's go" would have made the ova slightly better

Well at least this time it shows that the actually got a real gig outside of school and whatnot, but still I wantted to see a full live version of that.

Anyways the good thing that came out of it was they now have a band to cover for and vice versa it seems. tongue.gif Not only that but Azu-nyan not even minding the tiger ears, until Yui mentioned them. laugh.gif

This show had spoilers? Last I checked K-ON! is another moe blob show = no definitive plot = no real spoilers. It's like Lucky Star, Seitokai no Ichizon, and Azumanga Daioh where you could essentially pick up from anywhere while having no idea what's going on but able to get the general idea of the show after one episode. Sure the girls want to get to Budokan, but logically speaking, how far did season 1 actually progress? 2 years through high school and they haven't really done a significant amount. They only have one more year left and if their goal was before they completed high school, they got a long way to go before they come even close to a mass public performance

Wait they are doing a second OVA of the series? blink.gif Were was I when that news broke?

In any case do they have any idea what the OVA will be about this time, or will it end up being another random time for the members of the band./ Supprisingly I prefer the Mio-Azu-nyan combo since you can't go wrong with a combination attack.
