November 22, 2010. Monday.
Ten missiles hit the territory of Japan.
However, this unprecedented terrorist act, later to be known as "Careless Monday" apparently did not cause any casualities, and was soon forgotten by almost everyone.
Then, 3 months later...
Saki Morimi is a young woman currently in the United States of America on her graduation trip. But just when she is in front of the White House, Washington DC, she gets into troubles, and only the unexpected intervention of one of her fellow countrymen saves her day.
However, this man, who introduces himself as Akira Takizawa, is a complete mystery.
First of all, he appears to have lost his memory.
Secondly, he is stark naked, except for the gun he holds in one hand, and the mobile phone he's grabbing with the other hand. A phone that is charged with 8,200,000,000 yen in digital cash.
Who is Akira Takizawa?
What are the secrets behind his extraordinary mobile phone?
What got lost with his vanished memory?
ah so thats how it is, well gonna have to wait till next year and remember it, just an off topic quetion so this'll apply to macross f movie also too ry?
Yup it applies to most anime movies including the Macross F movies that are released in the cinemas and then it takes about 6 months before they have they're DVD & BR release. Most fansubbers only do subs for DVD-rips of the movies and now more commonly BR-Rips.
did eden's 1st movie came out already with subs? did any fansubs subbed it? cuz i cant find any torrent bout den's 1st movie
Eden of the East: The King of Eden has premiered in Japan's theaters. This means that we won't be getting the DVD until around April or May next year (earlier if we're lucky). So unless fansub groups work with a low quality video camera rip (which probably won't happen in either case), we won't get this movie until Q1 next year.
The highly anticipated movie sequels to penis abuse anime Higashi no Eden, or Eden of the East, have been reworked, with the result that the second movie of the pair, originally scheduled for January 9th, will now be delayed to March.
However, happily enough both movies have been extended in length.
Citing “production circumstances” as the reason for the changes, Production IG has lengthened the pair to 82 and 90 minutes, from 60 minutes each.
The first of the pair, “The King of Eden,” opens on the 28th of November.
With the TV series ending on a cliffhanger, fans will surely want to know what happened to protagonist Akira Takizawa, a cunning marketing stroke if ever there were one…
Oct 25 2009 07:47 AM I just marathoned this yesterday....5 episodes yesterday and the rest just now.
Its a good series......quite a few holes that will be hopefully filled in by the triology of movies despite the first movie being literally a remake of the entire series entitled Eden of The East Compilation: Air Communication (aka Higashi no Eden Soushuuhen - Air Communication), which was released almost a month ago(26th September 2009 to be exact).
I liked the series but the characters are not exactly the ones I would jump up and shout their names 100 times or something along that line.......basically, what I'm saying I don't really like the story but I like the actual series.
I gave it a 9/10 on MAL but I'm not sure if I should have given it so high but then again I always rate stuff higher than they usually are.
i just noticed this series and the hosing was stopped (cause of licensed) right when i loaded the episodes. i just got to watch the first 5 (to the hospital) thats when i got finaly some clue about the story ^^
is there maybe someone who can sum up the complete story after the hospital ? it would be great help for my addiction
btw, i didnt check the full list of posts, only the last page. so if thers already a nice summary, just slap me and point me in the right direction
Now that you said it, you're right, I totally missed that (guess because I was "listening" to the trailer while doing sth else). That's good news then... uhh, until next year when the DVD will (maybe) be released.
It's quite sad to think that we have to wait that long for some subs. Hopefully they'll release special limited edition movie DVD's during the showing. I've seen it done but it's highly unlikely.
Also, toward the end of the trailer, it clearly said (in Japanese) the story takes place "half year after the disappearance of Akira Takisawa" (aka end of the TV series).

We don't have to worrying that the movies will be a remake, considering the titles of the two movies are "The King of Eden" and 'Paradise Lost", it would most definitely gonna be a continuation.
As for not much new stuffs being shown in trailer, it is pretty common for anime movie in Japan for the initial trailer, considering the movies are still in production (an example would be Nanoha's 1st movie's trailer...I think it was about 90% was old footage and only about 10% new contents shown). I think it is likely they will realise more trailers soon.

You might be right as I watched and got a "recap kinda feeling." Hoping this feeling is way wrong... Otherwise, forget it... EDIT:

Good news then...glad someone here understood and has now related the good news to the rest of us...thank you, Marine-RX179-san!
Jun 28 2009 03:18 PM Hmm, the trailer for the movie didn't show much new stuff... It's almost like it'll be a recap - I really hope not, and I'll be mad if it is.
