Thanx Marine for the explanation....I just assumed it got cancelled and not on the author's grounds.....I feel sorry for the poor bloke. I read an article recently at Sankaku Complex that told about a survey of which 45% of married women cheat on their husbands in Japan. I know it happens often in the world and men do it as well...........I'M IN DESPIAR!!!! ohmy.gif  ohmy.gif  ohmy.gif  laugh.gif  rolleyes.gif

Yea...I too thought Jump canned To-Love-Ru serialization. When they announced the manga is ending due to authors' 'personal circumstances', I assumed Jump was just announcing they are axing it in a polite manner...but I guess they were telling the truth afterall.

Yabuki is not a bad looking guy at all, but I guess his ex-wife loved his money more than him, and like her 18 years old boyfriend's look more than his. Yabuki is now a 29 years old single dad thanks to his parasitic ex-wife who not only sucked away his wealth, but made his life miserible as well. With the announcement of Yabuki going to start a serialization on a new manga, I hope that's an idication of him and his daughter are doing ok now.

HOLY WTF......I just can't picture Haruna being like that.....woman can be sooooo cruel. sad.gif

What Shinobu's_Lover said was only tip of the iceberg of how bad Yabuki's ex-wife Kashiwagi Shiho is (and some details are not entirely correct, as she having an affair with the 18 years old guy was what leading to her leaving Yabuki in the first place).

At 2001, Kashiwagi Shiho became Yabuki Kentaro's drawing assistant. After dating for a period of time they got married.

At 2006, their daughter was born. During her time living with Yabuki, she hardly do any housework and do anything as a wife should.

After giving birth to their daughter, she hardly carried out her responsibility as a mother, and all she does was eat, sleep and go on the net all day (NEET!).

Around mid-January 2009, she disappeared with their 3 years old daughter, dropped her off at her family and went on holiday with the 18 years old guy. And she was low on money at some point and she shameless phoned Yabuki asking him for money.

At mid-February 2009, she used the excuse of 'let's make up for our daughter's sake', returned to Yabuki's home, stole his personal credit card and disappeared with their daughter again. By the time Yabuki realised his credit card was missing and reported it to freeze the card, the card was already maxed out.

At first half of March 2009, Shiho filed for divorce (with the splitting of wealth/assets of course) with Yabuki on the ground (excuse more like it) 'all Yabuki cares about is drawing manga and doesn't care about her, their personality not suit with each other etc).

At the same month, Shiho's affair came to light with evidence in the form of skype records found on Shiho's netbook. After Shiho realized her affair been discovered, she change her approach, offering the custody rights of their 3 years old daughter to Yabuki, under the conditions of Yabuki agreeing to split his assets with her and not sueing her 18 years old boyfriend.

Because of being busy with the serialisation of To-Love-Ru, Yabuki didn't have time to go through with dragging out the case; and out of the thought of dragging out the case too long would be bad for his daughter, Yabuki agreed to Shiho's conditions and their divorce finalised at the end of April 2009.

Yabuki had to move house sometime around/after June 2009, and that was probably the reason (besides the injuries from the broken marriage and his evil ex-wife) why he decided to end To-Love-Ru is such as rush.

You can see more info regarding the affair under my posts at the To-Love-Ru thread in manga section.

Here are the real "personal" issused that cause him to end the manga so abruptly.

His Bitch of a wife left him, took their daughter and threatened him that if he didn't end it he would never see their daughter again. Why you ask? well his wife was the basis for Haruna and she was demanding compensation for him useing her image in the manga. Which in fact Haruna, while the his wife was the basis, was almost completely different in personality and alot of her looks. The Wife didn't care, left him and started dating a college student. They divorced and she tried to start a law suit against him. Due to all the stress involved with trying to continue the manga and handling her and worrying that he'll never see his daughter again he decided to end the manga.

I dont blame him because it ended, Im really glad that he ended it because compared to the anime it was just a waste of time.
I wonder how the same Mangaka who did Black Cat could do something awful like To Love-Ru.
No story, every chapter the same old jokes and almost nothing new since chapter one.

Hence....its cancellation. dry.gif

I can't believe this caused the cancellation of Mx0.....it was such a shame and now to see the manga for this to axed....I'm like crying to the gods "WHY !?!?!?". mad.gif mad.gif dry.gif dry.gif

But she was working for her at the school and her personal office as well. So in actuality they kind of implied on it a little bit, but not too much though. Although for the manga it was a shame that it ended so abruptly like that, but he said it was due to personal issues though so you can't really blame him.

Just watched the OVA and I woudlve thought to say that, but the manga version of this was far better -.-
Somehow the OVAs are just a joke.
A second season wouldve been better.

I really looked forward to this part because it was one of the few parts in the manga who were actually good.

@Kid-Wolf: The same with Oshizu-chans human body. It was never told that Mikado-sensei made a body for her in the anime.

I would say that this ep has fulfilled my want for a second season as well. There was some magic on display as they tackled a staple less explored. It is a valid one for me though. On any account, Kid-Wolf should be happily pushed into a great spot. His two characters that he was looking for made their appearance. Didn't see Lala as the older sis type but now that adds more to her appeal, I reckon.

call me old-fashioned but I actually felt like I was back in season 1 of this series again. Chuckles all over the place kept me entertained from one side of things to the other. I need someone to punch my ticket for the second seaon bandwagon... I might never get off of it again!
