Jun 30 2009 03:02 AM Great ending to a great anime series adaptation of a good manga.
I loved how there were virtually no loose ends at the end. Everyone was forward with their feelings whether or not the feelings were reciprocated, they held onto them, though in the case of Ayumi's brother he might not be quite as open with them.
I loved how full circle it went with once again Ayumi brooding over Misao's letter and her response, and how Kei gave a completely opposite answer (instead of "boys are all about looks" it was changed to "what's important is the inside!")
We got to see pretty much all the pairings in the conclusion, except for I think Megumi and the weirdo swim guy, but they're pretty fail anyway and nobody cares about her so all it forgotten.
Anyway, this anime is an example of something that doesn't really have a super thrilling story/characters, but due to great execution, J.C. Staff turned out a really quality product.
