Wah! It's season 1 all over again. But considering how difficult the show is to translate, we should be grateful that we've gotten as much as we have, really. I did notice a rather exasperated comment on TokyoTosho when the torrent came out. I'm sure someone will come along to finish it off, but if that doesn't happen soon, maybe we should drop some hints over at FTV-Subs.

Agh! Thanks for the quick reply, unfortunately I am starting to go through ZSZS withdrawal and this is definitely not a series to watch raw without a good understanding of the language My Japanese is far from that level yet Luckily we are not left in the middle of a cliffhanger.

Paint's gonna be hard, but i'll try it anyways.

So far my favorite are the "emergency measures" bit and the confession gag.

Now I'm waiting for them to do jokes about the subsequent earthquakes this week and typhoon ketsana and the one next to it. I'd bet they'll do a "the world is ending" joke or maybe one on the environment.

I'll upload my trial next time.

haha I think we should really do that khael, it would be fun to draw and upload on here. I think I might try doing it with microsoft paint or something since I don't have a scanner.

The tinted glasses bit was awesome, especially that they had older glasses too that made you spout prejudices from that time period But yeah Itoshiki just isn't the same without his glasses on. I hope they continue the bit with Rin buying all her neighbours properties so she can get to the ramen store. I like Rin's personality so I'm glad we got to see more of her this season.

LOL I'm just in ep. 3. "uru" man group made me lol like hell. I can't believe how creative these guys are [Kumeta and his gang?] when it comes to making puns on pop culture. Perfect fit all the time!

BTW anyone else here who tried to draw with the zetsubou sensei drawing song?

Why don't we have everyone try it and then scan it and upload it here lol, just for kicks. I especially loved the quite literal rendition of some of the drawings.

The Tinted glasses skit in ep 11 was wonderful. I'll probably pick up more on the second and third watch. That is one thing I love about the series, It gets better after a few repeated watchings, because of all the subtleties and just sheer information overload.

About the 4th season, can't find any info; but do we know if this current season is 12 or 24? I hope next week is not the last yet if we have 24 then I doubt a 4th season to be likely, for quite a while atleast.

I really liked the Zetsubo-sensei drawing song ever since it first appeared, and I'm glad that they are having all the seiyuus do it, it's just so funny. I really liked Tomokazu Sugita's drawing, it reminded me of Kaiji

Other than that, I liked the bit with the operatives, Itoshiki is always so good at pointing out ppl that are destroying society The chicken or the egg part was nicely done too, I liked the cavemen parts. Especially the S&M bit

I don't know if that link is for me, or just in general.... but if it's for me then you misunderstood what I wrote. I never said they didn't have any good anime, on the contrary, they have produced many good series, that usually go unnoticed by the majority of anime fans. That's the point I was trying to make.
But there was some interesting info there on that wiki page, I didn't know that they joined up with Gainax to produce some shows.
Anyway, eppy 10 just came out, waiting for it to finish downloading

Season 4 sounds good to me if it really happens. I don't know if the manga is still ongoing or not, I get the impression that it is, soooo there is always a possibility of a 4th season. I think this has been an amazing season so far. I like how they started to continue some of the short stories into other episodes. Chiri is getting more awesome after every season or maybe I'm just biased for thinking that, since I love Inoue Marina.

As for comparing this to Bakemonogatari, well to be honest I'm surprised Bakemonogatari is as popular as it is, since it is a SHAFT anime, which usually tend to remain under the radar because their style is unique and too odd for some (think of Natsu no Arashi or ef- tale of melodies, superb animes but didn't receive as much attention as I think they deserved). I personally like SZS more than Bakemonogatari, I just find it more fun to watch. Still Bakemonogatari is a solid anime, but I have to be in the mood for it to really enjoy it.

GG's made some good subs, I do tend to download them as often as I can.

I've yet to hear that news of SZS season 4, But I'm looking forward to it!

If they ever release SZS in Canada I'll be sure to pick it up. these people deserve my money.
