I didn't say it's like Princess Lover as a show, just that it fails because of similar problems that Princess Lover had. True, they may be less overt here, but it doesn't mean they aren't present.

It gets 6/10 from me.
-2 because I just hate Luke. I have enough of whining, depressive losers who become maincharacters.
-2 because the end was too rushed because they spent to much time for unnecessary things like the relation between Lisa and Luke, because it was done just more than bad.

In the end the only two good points this anime had was Cecily and Aria, but thats enough for me to want a second season.

And for Cecilys heart speech, I dont think it was that bad. Having heart in doing something can make a lot of difference. Ok it doesnt replace talent, but I think someone who puts everything in it can be better than someone who has talent but is only doing it without effort.
And its not as ridiciolous as someone actually falling in love with someone like Natsuru from Kämpfer.

Ok not really a masterpiece, but saying that its like Princess Lover is just far too much. Princess Lover was a lot worse, it even was on the same lvl like Haruhi S2.

@Wiz: Its not that uncomprehensible that Siegfried waited for Cecily to finish, because he was portrayed sooo overconfident the last 2 eps. And I wouldve done the same except that I wouldnt have lost ^^
And if I can have a beautiful girl like Aria as a sword I would give a f*ck for other swords. I mean its a double win ^^

This series is a MASTERPIECE..........10/10........the BEST anime of this WHOLE YEAR!!

Of course, I'm bullsh*tting.....I ONLY went up to episode 06 and I intend to come back and finish this series on a later date but it seems that this series did end up being awful.

The last episode is a big disappointment =/ They lost too much time in others episode and the result is a rushing last episode with 2 little battle... But I still liked the battle with the blond girl (I don't know if we know her name oO) and Cecil. Like never_ending said, if this battle was a little longer, maybe it would have been a better and memorable battle.

Well I give a 7/10. The series was great but not what I expected in the end.

I would really like some one to tell me why, this waste of space anime should have a second season. on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest this anime is like 2 being very generous with that two. give me (tiga from Toradora!) fight scene. over this crap.

I've been keeping an eye on this series hoping it'll turn out good, they did injustice to this show!!!

If they stretch it to 24 episode it might have bene saved, but they screwed if over by rushing it, then the last fight was.... urk.

But the fight between the blond girl and Cecil was pretty good, if only they stretched it out a little it might have been even more rememberable!

Damn it I want to take a pike to them!!!

OK, now with all that said I hope they bring a second season.

Oh, you know, good ol' "love, friendship and proper amount of yelling overcomes any obstacle... ANY!" rule applies here. All in all, I have to say it's a disappointment very similar to Princess Lover aka. it had the right parts to make it one of the better shows, but chose to focus on anime cliches and irrelevant segments instead.

And yeah, I was cheering for Siegfried in the end.. go get her already, don't give her the chance to finish the speech. Reason why Good will always win - because Evil becomes fascinated by bright colors and fancy speeches resulting in it staring blankly for 5 minutes.

Agreed.

I had to laugh when the Cecily vs Siegfried started. What a stupid, waste of space fight. "Skills aren't necessary. What's important is a heart that won't falter!" L-O-L. If it was that easy people wouldn't be struggling today. This anime is basically saying an amateur would be an expert as long as they have enough heart? GTFO. Not to mention I love how antagonists always wait for the protaonists to be ready, it literally made it difficult to watch/listen to this one.

4/10 on a strict scale.

P.S: Siegfrieds little lady slave seemed to be the only one in this anime other than Luke that had an idea of how to fight without a demon sword, which I was very happy to see.

So what I feared actually happened. Because they spent so much time for something trivial to the plot (the whole thing with that little princess) they havent had the time for a decent end.
The last ep was just bad.

The thing with Luke and Lisa was just terrible. It was soooo damn forced I could barely watch.

The 2 main-fights (Cecily against that blond chick and Luke/Cecily against Siegfried) werent that bad or out of place so at least that was nicely done.

Despite all that I hope we get a second season with a conclusion to the Valbanill case.

For my part, I understand what AnimeWiz says. I mean, ok Cecily wanted to know more about Luke, wanted to let him know that he didn't make a devil pact but she must learn her place ' She came for nowhere and begin a long long speech for... nothing? We, as spectator, discovered a lot of thing but beside that, the assemble were not like "omg we discovered something important zomg" ^^' At least, there was Siegfried who wanted to know the truth cause it was important for him but the rest...
