I almost didn't comment in this thread since it's probably the poorest put together thread for an anime on this site lmao. Though I wanted to sound off on Aishiteruze Baby since I just finished watching it yesterday. I have to say the whole time I thought we were building up towards a reunion between Yuzuyu and her mother. So I'm watching the last episode and I can't believe she still hasn't got her act together?! She is living at some apartment marking off the days she doesn't cry over her husband's death. I was screaming at the screen go pick up your freaking daughter or at least go visit her you worthless piece of.... dry.gif

Anyways I guess it wasn't so bad for Yuzuyu since Kippei turned out to be a pretty functional mom replacement. By the end of the anime he wasn't just making a rice ball bento anymore (the kids made fun of Yuzuyu during the earlier eppy's because that's all he packed lol).

The only real downfall of the anime was that I feel the Kokoro character was under utilized. Not until the last couple of episodes did we see her experience any kind of character growth. She was usually stoic w/a melancholy expression in most her scenes. So it was a bit hard for me to sympathize with her character except for when the father started to take down the pictures of her deceased mother. All in all it was a good watch I would definitely recommend giving it a viewing if you've got a weekend to kill.
