So it seems many people have stopped talking about the series given that the filler continued. It seems that April 16th will be the date when a new OP and ED arrive. Hopefully that means it's the end of the filler and back to the manga. However, given the lack of significant progress in the manga lately as well as how the filler arc is progressing, it may seem like we're in for another 2 seasons of filler....though I have no idea how they would pull that off given how dumb and dull it's getting. It could have been much better if they had ended it once they finished Kouga and Muramasa.

I think bleach anime gone away i mean after the zanpaktou arc i thought they go back to the huco mundo arc. Everyone in the world is waiting for fight between ichigo and ulqurria. But we have to wait for this beasty sword arc to finish i guess we have to wait mid april for the restart to happen sigh i think i stick to manga.

@warita: lol? Their connection was shown in a way it couldnt be better shown. Kouga was someone from the Kuchiki-Family and with him betraying SS he dishonored them. And because of that Byakuya wanted to unseal him to kill him and Kouga just wanted to kill him because Byakuya is a Kuchiki.

Hmm I wonder what the new fillers will be doing. In the prview it looks like tha attack of the orcs ^^

@Killer Ossi, but the question was whether Kouga is Byakuyas uncle or father and I am not taking the explanation "Byakuyas parents are dead", a sealed person is pactically dead so..... not that I believe he is his father, I am betting more on the uncle.

I gotta admit, that some of the recent episodes present superb quality of the animation. I just hope they keep it up instead of slowing down the pace when the series gets back to manga plot. Ulqiorra owning Ichigo at the end of the episode was adorable smile.gif I can't wait to see them fighting :>.

So, in the end they never said in what way was Byakuya related to Kouga.... and I wanted to know so badly. Well, looks like the fillers are over and we can move on with the original plot. biggrin.gif

Nope or he better not be. I feel it would mess up the story quite a bit... Also don't forget that Ginsei adopted Kouga into the Kuchiki family, which means that he doesn't actually have Kuchiki blood in him while Byakuya does. This was explained I think one or two episodes ago. Not to mention that if we look back at Turn Back the Pendulum 30+ episodes ago, Byakuya was already long around.

Ginsei said Kouga is a son in law and Kouga also called Ginsei father. So I assume Kouga married one of Ginseis daughters. The reason why he is also adopted is maybe that Ginsei only had a daughter/daughters and no male successor and Ginsei wanted to make him the head of the family later on. Kouga could also be Byakuyas uncle, which sounds more probable, now that I think about it.

As for Byakuya beeing 100% Kuchiki..... well, unless the Kuchiki clan is into incest, one of his parents must be either a non kuchiki or from remote side branch of the kuchiki clan.

Hey, could it be, that Kouga is Byakuyas father? Byakuya sure has an affinity for killing relatives, hahaha

So that was what Byakuya meant with protecting his pride. He will always do things his way ^^

The fight was pretty amazing, both of them are really powerfull and have shown us a few really nice moves. But I dont think Kouga will still stand after this.

Well it looks like the filler will be wrapping up soon. Kouga is defeated next week and Muramasa goes hollow. I can't seem them dragging this out much longer without it getting really dull. I just hope they don't spend like 5 episodes trying to figure out how to restore the broken Zanpaktou.

My only problem with this episode was that Byakuya used the Imperial Sword technique, which we last saw him use against Ichigo back around episode 59 of the series. Kind of a waste to be using it on Kouga if you ask me since he didn't even really go all out when using Senbonzakura Kageyoshi this time.
