i've been watching this show regularly and it is pretty cool. lots of characters to keep track of, but they're all fairly... distinct. anybody know where to get the full version of the first ending? i couldn't find it... and now i've forgotten the name too.

Yeah, the old guys are apparently the young guys in the present. However, the other set of young people are apparently their grandchildren... I liked this series quite a bit, it definitely had quite a bit of weight to it. Not to mention, you can't not like ninjas. biggrin.gif Good pick, DD!

it seems to have a stronger plot, and focuses on many more characters.. but yeah, it has some similarities! if you like samurai shamploo i believe you're gonna like basilisk as well...

give it a try, i want more opinions, come on wink.gif

If the rest of this series is like the first episode, looks like we have a show not to miss!! a lot of action -- and great action, not the usual and repetitive kind of battles, a story that seems to be prtty interesting -- which includes historical characters and stuff like that, hell even the music and sound effects impressed me..

if you're wondering what you're going to see next, get this. really, it's worth it.

On a sidenote, i got english subs' version, and maybe you guys should get this from another group.. it looked like the encode quality could be better, and i didn't like the subtitle font.
