| QUOTE (sokolat @ Nov 12 2007, 07:13 AM) | luv this anime "black cat".. it AWESOME ! ! i giv it 5 outta 5 ratings ~~ u guys should watch this anime !! |
So umm I wonder exactly what did you like about this anime. Like maybe did you like the part where Train meets Saya and she basically changes him from a cold blooded killer who is only the Chrono's puppet into a gunslinging hero who takes orders from no one??? Or maybe you liked how Train pairs up with Sven and the walking talking bio weapon Eve. How Eve and Train become like brother and sister. With the cool scene where she is reading a book in the cabin about the stray cat... then as in the book she puts the cat bell collar around Train's neck... then wham bam nakama type bonds form strong shortly after... Maybe something like that??? sokolat you gotta back up your stuff add some type of discussion pointz please... that was just plain dish of cold spam buddy |

| QUOTE (Ravenhood @ Aug 15 2007, 02:29 AM) | Hmm... well, this is what I've gathered on it so far...
"Whereas only 23 episodes of the series were aired on TBS's airing of the series, the series actually consists of 24 episodes, with the 15th episode of the series, TÅzakaru Neko ( é ãããç«, TÅzakaru Neko? A Runaway Cat), not airing on the terrestrial TBS network and instead airing exclusively in Japan on the CS network Animax. This episode was also included in the original Japanese DVDs for the series. Animax also aired this episode and all 24 episodes of the series in each of its other international networks worldwide (including dubbing and translating the series for broadcast across its English-language networks in Southeast Asia and South Asia)."
On an episode listing I found, the closest title to the one above (Runaway Cat) was "Distant Cat." I believe this is supposed to be the one. When I searched episode 15 on a few sites, I continuously came up with what the episode listing calls the 16th episode (the one with the pet Flora).
Regardless, I'm having a really tough time finding subs for 24 episodes. Everywhere I look, it's always for 23.
Again, any help is appreciated. (And thanks, Kit-Tsukasa, for the quick response. =P) |
That's because only the main 23 episodes were subbed. The missing episode was a "pointless" episode that was absolutely not relevant to the story. I think I remember watching that episode raw now that you mention it. It was okay and somewhat funny, but nothing really that interesting. |

| QUOTE (Ravenhood @ Aug 14 2007, 11:19 PM) | Is anybody aware of the episode that was only aired on the Animax station, and wasn't part of the TBS station run?
I just found out about it, like, now, and I can't find it anywhere...
Apparently, the episode title translates to "A Distant Cat," or "A Runaway Cat."
Any help in finding it would be appreciated. |
I don't remember a specific episode title called that, maybe it was a dub title, but I believe the closest would be either episode 5 or 8. Probably closer to 5 since that's the episode when Train leaves the Chronos |

Mar 23 2007 02:05 PM Watching Black Cat dvd's until early in the morning last night. I had almost forgot how good this series is. Another killer loli in Eve the bio weapon her one liners are genious. Sven always a gentlemen man i want his briefcase like weapon I'd be the most dangerous guy wearing a suit and tie. Though I still feel bad when I see Saya eliminated so early in the anime. She would have been a fun character to build on. Stopped watching when Train broke into his milk song something about yellow milk and red milk it made no sense at all. Aug then i fell asleep it was like 5 in the morning but it was some fun Black Cat nostalgia. Luv this anime on my list of please bring forth another season one day |

| QUOTE (xcouger @ Mar 04 2007, 08:24 AM) | I just started watching this series last night and now I'm up to episode 11.. What do you mean where the episodes are?.. Where are you downloading them from? Anyways.. I'm surprised that I haven't watched this earlier but it really is a good series.. I'm loving the gun action |
I think 44phoenix44 meant this: http://anime.fansub.tv/series.php/687/Black%20Cat/Anyways, to clear things up, the series is licensed basically between the release of episode 9 and 10, Funimation licensed it. What you see on the site is actually not there. The greyed out files mean that they are no longer here either because of one of the following: 1) Lack of subbing/interest in the series 2) Too old 3) Too big to host 4) Licensed. As mentioned before this series is licensed, so you will not find it here. @xcouger: read the manga, it is much, much, much better than the anime. Let's just say the anime started off well and deteriorated half way through, with the exception of TRAIN KICK!!!! |
