Well I just checked mangaupdates.com, in which you can see that the Gintama anime starts at Vol 1, Chap 1 & ends at Vol 32, Chap 292

btw Gintama anime caught to which chapter in manga? and how many chapter are out currently?

I just kind of user posted image it. It seems like the RAWs are at 319 and translations at 311. Maybe wrong..

I'm up to episode 28 now. And I must say that episode 25 is my all time favorite episode so far. I pretty much laughed non stop.

I just started watching this and of course it's hilarious! But I'm wondering how much longer till they'll start the show back up? Do you know?

Not sure, but you have some material still left, there are 200 episodes wink.gif

Oh, so you have started to watch it warita-chan? I'm so glad smile.gif Around what episode are you on?

And no it's not over yet, just for now they won't be making any new episodes to let the manga get ahead. No word yet on when they continue.

Yeah I started watching it, thanks for recommending it !!! wink.gif I think this is a great show..... I love Gin and also Zura, he is such a masculine japanese beauty, his voice is easy on the ear too. Currently, I am at episode 65 and I think I will slow down the consumption because otherwise, i will run out of gintama episodes soon.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to sound like it was ending permanently. I had a feeling (or hope) that it would still continue. I don't know if the first 201 episodes is going to be considered a separate series from the one they will start later OR if they will just continue from there.
I can understand why the dvds sell well, even I will buy them once I get home in Canada and I can get my hands on them. It's a show that I would purchase even though it is pretty long and therefore costly.

Fair enough, though I must say the line "And so it ends, at a whopping 201 episodes." did not carry that same line of thinking, and it was that particular line that got me wondering, since there was absolutely no reason to end (permanently) Gintama since the DVDs sell better in Japan than any other Shounen Jump show.
