Very soon Gohyakugawa Karada will become a junior high student, and both of her parents have since passed away. She and her older brother, Hiro, live together. Although their days pass quietly, she gets the feeling that as her only blood relative, Hiro-oniisan has all the responsibility and she wants to quickly become an adult.
On the other hand, Hiro's ex-girlfriend, Nogami Shoko cannot forget her feelings about Hiro, and is obsessed with escaping to old memories. So one day, Shoko's adult body transforms into that of a child!
Karada uses a wishstone and says, "Please change my body.." The protagonists Karada and Shoko, and the people who surround, them are depicted in this summer fantasy.

you could tell that there were going to change back since this was an anime about telling the story and everything that happen was mostly explainable and happen for a reson that we would not know until later, i just got attracted to it since i did like the opening and closing song alot too!!!! most of the late fall or winter shows are just filler to when the anime companies bring out there big anime in the spring!!!!!

I thought this anime was kinda good, but I already had too many animes to watch. maybe I should watch it again. don't really like the ending. from what you all posted, they go back to normal. that's a lazy way to end an anime. I think it's cause the director didn't want to continue with this anime. either cause the manga's small or cause there wasn't any other option (also they didn't have any ideas cause the manga wasn't finished).

Something I really liked in this anime was the piano music through every episode. Dunno, I think it fitted perfectly in this anime smile.gif
Rewatching it wouldn't be such a bad idea indeed.... But still I think it misses something... meh, I'll just rewatch it.. XD

maybe watch it with a girl and a bag of popcorn extra butter is my preference. Might have to brush your teeth though afterwards. Set the mood then go from there I don't know maybe something like that...

laugh.gif Perfect plan there senpai-kun. But to get through the whole series (minus OP/ED) would take 3 hours at least; eh, it can be done. wink.gif

This was just another one of those anime that was overlooked by many, part in parcel due to the slow subbing and overall slow paced nature of the story. :/ I still liked it though, even if the ending wasn't exactly to my liking...

Hmm so it finally comes to an end. Another one of those animes that had slow subs so I kinda got out of the flow watching this one. Though the plot itself was pretty basic so it's not like I needed to go rewatch any scenes. I would say just overall the pace of the anime was slow. Karada-chan was a nice little anime character pretty kawaii and what not.

I did rewatch the ending to see what happened exactly. And almost didn't catch it the first time. The whole green stone part. But once I figured out the significance of that. It made sense to why they returned. So nice story nothing epic but something to watch when you are just killing time maybe watch it with a girl and a bag of popcorn extra butter is my preference. Might have to brush your teeth though afterwards. Set the mood then go from there I don't know maybe something like that...

This ending.... blah nevermind =_=
I think I accidentally skipped episode 11... oh well, I did like this series though... the story was ok, but not that surprising to me.. and I also didn't get that father-thingy Kotomi was talking about, so I'm about to rewatch it all. At the ver end, they did get turned back to their normal selves right? Or wasn't I paying attention again? blink.gif ? I liked it when we got to see Hiro's uncovered face... friendly drawn eyes and a face which looked like it's been taken good care of.. Good that Shoukou and Hiro were together again.. and that part where they were holding eachother's hand while walking back was sweet. ^^

Am I mis-remembering or does Kotomi say what her father does at some point? There's a little memory bug telling me that might be important...

I also didn't catch what she meant if we were meant to remember it because the subbing was so slow that I completely forgot. laugh.gif I don't really want to watch half the series again just to catch a single hint though...unsure.gif

Finally! I've been waiting so long for this one to end. Now that it's over I've got some things to say:

The worst part of the episode, to me, was at the very end when Kotomi gave Shouko that stone so everything could go back to normal again. I mean, why go through all that and then just get turned back? Not that it's probably better that way, because Shouko and Hiro can be happy together and Testu and Karada can go to school together finally just...it all seemed too easy to me.

I do know that Kotomi is an anime-only character and the manga is still running in Japan so now I only wonder how the manga is going to finish since I highly doubt the mangaka would turn them back in the end. That's just my hunch on how the story was progressing, but then I could be wrong.

What I want to do now is see if anyone has translated the manga. I really liked this series, even if the subbing was really slow towards the end and I had to switch from Lunar to Ureshii because Lunar dropped it or something. sleep.gif

So yeah, great little series that I think has been overlooked by a lot of people.

And for the record, Shouko is a cuter child than Karada. tongue.gif

Episode 12 is now out ... I am not moving from my chair until it is downloaded and watched multiple times! I also agree with NTT P702iF that this has to be one of my more favorite shows, even though it is short and seems to be slow paced there is much character development and reflection that can be pulled from this Anime.
