Seiso Academy is a high school that offers two study programmes: a normal academic course and a music specialization course. Hino Kahoko attends standard classes; however, she is visited by Lili, a mysterious being who has blessed the school with the gift of music. Lili bestows upon her a magical violin that grants Kahoko the ability to play. She is compelled to participate in the school’s prestigious music competition although all of the other competitors are elite student musicians from the music department. Thrust into the world of music, Kahoko, who has never played a musical instrument before in her life, has many obstacles to overcome.

They should pair Hino up with someone, who? i personally have no opinion over which boy. They are all AMAZING (:!
The boy that just came in, the blonde hair one, he seems to really like Hino!
A lot of you guys want Hino and Len to end up together, but he seemed kind of not into Hino in the Anime. They might end up together in the manga, but i am not sure about the anime...
1st. i think 95% of the Story only revolves about music..

Sep 22 2009 12:58 AM Personally, animes that make you think are nice, but one needs to also consider animes that are just sheer fun and fantasy, and yeah, bishies. I never considered this one to be taken seriously, as in depth that would generate serious and thoughtful discussion. Oh sure, back in the day, we speculated on who the main character would end up with or who's eyes were bluer or which guy's hair was nicer. Not at all something you'd want to engage in, but like I said, it was fun and it was sheer reverse harem fantasy. Still is and now that I think about it...I just may have myself a re-run of this anime for old times sake. Now, I will say this, Megiddo-san, it would be like pulling teeth, but one could speculate and discuss on how or what, the main characters came to understand with regards to the music, let alone perform and why some rivalries were nasty with regard to certain characters...I am thinking of a certain purple haired wonder... a virtuoso of sorts, when it came to playing the flute or was it the piccolo? Damn, it's been three years...gotta go back and take a look see.

That's why I posed my question. I mean, is there actual stuff to discuss about this show? Does it make you think?
I love watching shows that spout discussion cause those tend to be the ones that make you think. I wouldn't be against watching La Corda if it proved to be something greater than a reverse harem.
Cause really, 31 pages is a lot for here on FTV o_0 Unless it's like Code Geass or something mega popular.

Or is Primo Passo really just have that many things to analyze and discuss? I noticed the subtitle says "classical music anime style", isn't that more suitable for Nodame Cantabile?
While you may have your reservations with regards to this particular anime, Megiddo-san, it remains popular to this day. I opened this thread a long time ago, over two years in fact, and yes, it is an anime classical music style. Some wonderful pieces have been played by some of the characters, Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin, to name a few. Despite what you may think, it was a good series. Glad to see it still has a following after all of this time.

Jun 5 2009 07:35 AM I'm curious did this get licensed or something i watched 5-8 of these episodes a very long time ago and the fansub group at the time decided to drop it since it was too much like R.E.C i noticed it doesnt have the normal chuukri ddl or any torrent links just curious to know about it i was much more interested in this series then R.E.C was kinda disappointed when they dropped it :/
