Any network runs all over the world, and the development of the information network reaches its acme. In this age, there are two developed worlds; the real world and wired, or the virtual network world.
Soma Toru belongs to a hacking group, Steppen Wolf, which runs around the network world freely. They attack the database of the UN forces as their last work. During this attack, he loses Nonomura Yuya, his friend as well as the team leader. Toru is arrested by the army. In exchange for letting him free, he has to work for...
yay!! at long last... episode 4 is up and ready for download!!!! *clicks the dl button* and its the final epi right?
Heyas,
"Baldr Force EXE" ep. 4 out now? (yes, it is the last of this 4-part OVA). The subbers have taken their own sweet time in completing this series! But I guess procrastination is a pernicious disease.
I tried procrastination, but I couldn't be bothered. I decided to do so the day after...
OR:
I tried procrastination. My palms became hairy, I went blind, and started voting Republican! .
Methinks The Triad are the worst culprits; they've only subbed ep. 1 of "MGLNStrikerS", whereas YesY have just brought out ep. 4!
"Baldr Force EXE" could be seen as a cross-between "The Matrix", "Gundam" & "Ghost In The Shell" - with of course a dash of "Scanners", for the head exploding scenes!
Of course, I knew about this scenario a few years ago - because the fansub group No Name Losers had created two OPs (using a combination of the visuals & the theme tune from the original H game) for a fictional anime series - not realising at the time that a few years later, their unintentional (& subconscious) prediction would come true!
Kind of an interesting anime, although the headpopping seemed out of place at first...Oo I think this series would definitely be placed under the same 'mysterious' genre as that of .Hack//Sign ^^. Because of some similarities like 'a virtual world...Oo', but most importantly the unknown mysterious little girl that shows up. According to how she reacts and the 'world' reacts to hear, it seems like she's a computer program herself instead of a human being. Anyway, waiting for the next release and i'll give my input about this anime as well ^^/
Agreed. the headpopping scared me more than Elfen Lied did, but after that, the anime got good. Does anyone have the 3rd episode? Kiss Sub's server is currently down.

Feb 16 2007 03:11 PM I have nothing but a big spoiler ! All characters in the game look better , even QuLong ( he look stronger ) Especially Hikaru , my gosh , in Anime , she look so normal , unlike in game - kawaiiiiiiiii with long gold hair. And Ryang , her face look so different , i hate it , where are my beautiful Chinese Lady ??? Buwawawa. But in anime she have herseft a Shmicram , that look not bad , but she don't use it often isn't ? Even some character have differents hair colors. I think they can only done Ghena and Renn pretty close to the game , I mean like the base in game. Renn still look so cute , and Ghena , still a hateful man with a hateful voice - I hate his voice even in the game , so noisy and itchy. In short , I think they haven't fully tranfers all thing in game to anime ( of course not *beep* or *beep* , but their work is not good . And they push the story too fast. The true about Renn , Leviathan and The Brain Washing Programs appears too soon , that make people hard to fully fell the story line, unless they already plays the game. Dang , I still prefer the game and I suggest people to play it , not for *beep* but to fully understand to story and all emotions , spirits of the script.
Dec 3 2006 01:11 PM did anyone else find the head popping silly? I mean if VR machines could pop heads people would stop using them...
know I would at least. I mean arguably you could make a comparison to cars, but unless somehow VR became essential for daily life... well yeah, still seems unreasonable to me.
other than that ... well at the very least it didn't feel like it was H-game anime ^^
Dec 2 2006 12:54 AM lol marine, you are really "youtube master" XD I'm interested in this series, maybe because it is based on hentai. but it does looks interesting, but too bad it is only ova and only contains 4 episodes. It means that this new series, will end soon.
Dec 2 2006 12:49 AM Ahh....'Face of Fact' by KOTOKO...my most favourite song of hers of all time. And the anime's OP version is tagged 'Resolution ver' because it got changed a bit. As much as I want to wath this, I think I'll wait for all the OVAs out before watching them in one go to avoid cliffhanger. It's a big no no for being left on cliffhanger for too long and by the time the next episode the tension that you felt would have already cooled off.
Although it was a h-game, but the robot combat of the action part of the game is quite well made and challenging as well. I think people really need to get off their stereotyping against h-game being nothing but hentai, as many action/rpg games within the h-games are actually quite fun to play.
I really like the opening theme The story seems interesting but it didn't get too far into it with this episode. The next one comes out Dec 8th on DVD, but then it's not until Feb 9 after that ...
